Overview
Number Quest ("the app", "we") is an offline-first number puzzle game published under the application ID com.dev.number_quest. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.
In short: we do not ask for your name, email, or any account. Your game progress never leaves your device. The only third-party service in the app is Google AdMob, which serves advertisements and may process device data as described below.
Information We Do Not Collect
- No account registration, name, email address, or phone number.
- No contacts, photos, files, location, camera, or microphone access.
- No analytics or tracking added by us.
- Game progress, settings, coins, achievements, and streaks are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads). To serve and measure ads, Google may automatically collect and process certain device information, which can include:
- Device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID
- IP address and coarse, IP-derived location
- Device and app information (model, OS version, app package)
- Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies:
Watching a rewarded ad is always optional and is only started when you tap the corresponding button.
Your Choices
- Personalized ads: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads on most Android devices).
- Local data deletion: uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in system settings, permanently deletes all locally saved progress and settings.
- Offline play: the game itself is fully playable without an internet connection; without a connection no ads are loaded and no ad data is transmitted.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad serving is handled by Google AdMob in accordance with its policies. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will assist.
Permissions
The app requests only the INTERNET permission, which is used exclusively for loading advertisements. No other sensitive permissions are requested.
Data Security
All game data is stored in the app's private storage area on your device, which other apps cannot access on standard Android configurations. Because we operate no servers and hold no user data, there is no server-side data for us to lose or breach.
Changes to This Policy
If the app's data practices change (for example, if leaderboards or cloud sync are added in a future update), this policy will be updated and the effective date above will be revised before the change ships.
