1. Summary
Flowo is a personal productivity app. The tasks, habits, notes, goals, moods, and profile details you create are stored only on your device — we do not run accounts or upload your personal content to our servers. We do, however, use trusted third-party services (Google Firebase and Google AdMob) that collect limited technical and usage data to keep the app stable, understand aggregate usage, and serve ads. The sections below describe exactly what is collected and why.
2. Information You Create (Stored Locally)
The content you enter into Flowo is saved in a local database on your device and is never transmitted to us. This includes:
- Tasks, sub-tasks, due dates, priorities, categories, and tags
- Habits, streaks, and completion history
- Notes, goals, and mood logs
- Focus/Pomodoro session activity
- Your profile details (display name, chosen avatar/emoji, preferences such as theme, daily goal, and wind-down time)
Because this data lives only on your device, you can permanently erase all of it at any time using Settings → Clear all data. Uninstalling the app also removes this data.
3. Information Collected Automatically
To operate, improve, and monetise the app, our third-party providers automatically collect certain technical information. This may include:
- App usage events (for example, screens viewed, tasks completed, habits checked)
- Crash logs, error reports, and diagnostic information (device model, operating system version, app version, and the state leading up to a crash)
- A device advertising identifier and approximate, non-precise information used to show and measure advertising
- General app performance and stability metrics
This information is collected in an aggregated or pseudonymous form and is not used by us to personally identify you.
4. Third-Party Services
Flowo relies on the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase Analytics | Understand aggregate, anonymous usage to improve the app | Firebase Privacy |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Capture crash reports and diagnostics to fix bugs | Firebase Privacy |
| Google AdMob | Display banner, native, and interstitial advertising | AdMob & Google Ads |
More information on how Google uses data from apps that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Advertising
Flowo displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads and, where permitted, to show more relevant ads. You can reset or limit ad personalisation at any time through your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising
6. Notifications
With your permission, Flowo sends local reminders (for example, the daily wind-down reminder and task/habit prompts). These notifications are scheduled on your device and do not transmit personal data to us. You can disable them at any time in Settings → Notifications or in your device's system settings.
7. How We Use Information
- To provide the app's core features and store your content on your device
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs (Crashlytics)
- To understand aggregate usage trends and improve the app (Analytics)
- To display and measure advertising (AdMob)
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Data Retention
Content you create is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data processed by Firebase and AdMob is retained according to those providers' own retention policies, linked above.
9. Children's Privacy
Flowo is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.
10. Your Rights & Choices
- Erase all locally stored data via Settings → Clear all data or by uninstalling the app
- Disable notifications in-app or in system settings
- Reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings
- Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK or California), you may have additional rights to access or delete data held by our providers — see their policies, linked above
11. Security
Your in-app content is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's own security. While we and our providers take reasonable measures to protect information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
