Daily Challenge Privacy Policy

Summary

Daily Challenge (package com.dev.dailychallenge) is a daily brain-game app for Android. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no servers of its own. All gameplay runs on your device and works offline. We, the developer, do not collect, receive or store any personal information about you.

Information stored on your device

To show your progress, the app saves the following only on your phone:

• Which days you played, your answers, scores and times
• Your streak and statistics
• Your settings (sound, haptics, theme, reminder time)

This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it any time with Settings → Reset Progress, or by uninstalling the app.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Ads are shown outside of gameplay (a banner on the main screens, an occasional full-screen ad after you close a result, and an optional video you can choose to watch to restore a streak). Ads only load when your device is online.

When ads are requested, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions, in order to deliver, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud. This processing is done by Google under its own policies:

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your Android device settings.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No server is involved and you can turn reminders off any time in Settings or in Android's notification settings.

Permissions

• Internet: used only to load ads. The game itself never needs a connection.
• Notifications: to show the optional daily reminder.
• Run at startup: to restore your scheduled reminder after the phone restarts.
• Vibration: for optional haptic feedback.

Children

Daily Challenge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell or share your personal information. Apart from the advertising data processed by Google described above, the app does not send any data to third parties.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
