The short version: we have no accounts, no servers and no database. We do not collect anything about you. Your progress is saved only on your own device. The App does show advertisements supplied by Google AdMob, and Google collects some device information in order to deliver them — that part is described in full below, and you can control it.
This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Catapult Kings ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. The App has no user accounts, no registration, no sign-in and no server operated by us. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.
Information collected by Google in order to serve advertising is described in Section 3. That collection is performed by Google under its own policies, not by us, and we never receive it.
So that you can close the game and pick it up again, the App saves your progress locally using your device's standard app storage. That data stays on the device, is not readable by us, and is never transmitted.
None of this identifies you. It is deleted when you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.
The App shows advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service provided by Google. To deliver and measure ads, Google may automatically collect certain information from your device, including:
This collection is performed by Google under its own policies, not by us. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalised advertising on your device at Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (or "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" on older Android versions).
Ads appear in three places, and nowhere else:
Where required by law, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before personalised ads are requested. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the App, where that option applies in your region.
After winning a battle you may be offered the chance to double that battle's coin purse by watching a video advertisement. Watching is always your choice and is never required to play. The purse is awarded in full before the offer appears, so declining costs you nothing and no part of the game is locked behind it.
Coins, weapons and upgrades are virtual items with no real-world value, are stored only on your device, and cannot be bought. The App contains no in-app purchases.
The App requests internet access solely for the advertising described above. There is no other network use: no accounts, no cloud saves, no leaderboards, no analytics, no crash reporting and no telemetry of any kind.
All gameplay works fully offline — level generation, physics, progress, the armory and the endless ladders. If the device has no connection the game plays exactly as normal, simply without ads.
Separately from the App, Google Play collects information about installations, updates and any reviews you choose to leave, under Google's Privacy Policy. That processing is Google's, happens outside the App, and is the same for every app distributed through the Play Store. We receive only the anonymous, aggregated statistics that the Play Console shows to every developer, such as install counts by country — never information about an individual person.
For transparency, this is what the App declares in the Google Play Data safety section:
| Item | Declaration |
|---|---|
| Device or other identifiers (advertising ID) | Collected and shared — Advertising |
| Approximate location (derived from IP) | Collected and shared — Advertising |
| App interactions (ad views and clicks) | Collected and shared — Advertising |
| Personal info, contacts, photos, files, messages, audio, health | Not collected |
| Data encrypted in transit | Yes — all ad traffic uses HTTPS |
| Does the app contain ads? | Yes |
| Does the app support in-app purchases? | No |
All of the collection above is carried out by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. We collect nothing ourselves and hold no copy of it.
The App is not directed at children. It contains no chat, no social features, no user-generated content and no purchases, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Advertising is delivered through Google AdMob in accordance with Google Play policies.
The App depicts stylised stick-figure siege combat and is age-rated accordingly on the Google Play Store. Please check the content rating shown on the store listing to decide whether it is suitable for a particular child. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the App, please contact us and we will help address it.
Because your game data is stored only on your device and we operate no servers, there is no database of ours to breach. The security of that local data is governed by your device's own protections; we recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a screen lock. Advertising traffic between your device and Google is encrypted in transit.
Data protection laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to its sale. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, export or sell. We have never sold or shared personal information for money, and we do not intend to. For data collected by Google, such as the advertising ID, use the controls described in Sections 3 and 4, or contact Google directly.
You can remove everything the App has stored at any time:
The App also has a Start a new campaign option in its own Settings, which erases every ladder, coin, weapon, upgrade and honour.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the App gains new features. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or the App, contact us.
